This version of the puppy food is perfect for summer fun… …replicating the traditional flavors of an s’ more but without the fuss of a flame.
INGREDIENTS
MAIN MIX
2 cups of Golden Grahams cereal
2 cups of Rice Chex cereal
1 cup of confectionery sugar
1/2 cup of milk chocolate snacks
1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
1 cup of mini marshmallows
ADD-INS
1/2 cup Golden Grahams cereal
1/2 cup mini marshmallows
INSTRUCTIONS
MAIN MIX
Place both cereal portions and mini marshmallows in a large bowl.
In a microwave bowl, melt the chocolate snacks and peanut butter in 30 second increments, stirring every 30 seconds . (Usually 1 minute is enough.)
Once melted, pour over the cereal and marshmallows and stir with a spatula until all is covered in the chocolate mixture.
Pour carefully into a large plastic bag that seals. Pour the sugar from the sweets over the bag and close it. Shake until each piece is covered with sugar.
ADD-INS
Open the plastic bag and add 1/2 cup of Golden Grahams and 1/2 cup of mini marshmallows. Shake the bag again to barely cover the toppings.
Pour into a bowl and serve.
RECIPE NOTES
*You can easily fold this recipe. Just make sure you have a big enough bowl to mix the ingredients and that you can work in batches when covering the cereal with chocolate.
