The Best Apple Crisp

Once you try this recipe you won’t want another one! Perfection in every bite!


10 cups of Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored and sliced
1 cup (200g) brown sugar
1 tablespoon of all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon

2 cups (180g) quick-cooking oats
2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour
2 cups (400g) of packed brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons of ground cinnamon
1 cup (2 sticks, 226g) cubed Challenge Butter while cold


Preheat the oven to 375°F. Prepare a 9×13 baking pan with baking spray or butter topping.

Put the sliced apples in a bowl. Add the brown sugar, flour and cinnamon. Stir gently and make sure each apple piece is covered with the sugar mixture. Set aside.

Combines oats, flour, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda and cinnamon. Add the butter in cubes and use your hands to combine. You want the butter to be the size of a pea and completely covered. You should have 6 cups.
Spread 3 cups on the bottom of the prepared tray and press flat. Pour the apple mixture on top and press it down with a rubber spatula. Pour the rest of the crunchy mixture over the apples and bake uncovered at 375°F for 35-45 minutes.
