This is the BEST buffalo chicken sauce with tender chunks of chicken in a creamy, cheesy buffalo sauce.
8 ounces of softened cream cheese
⅔ cup of buffalo sauce
⅔ cup of sour cream
1 teaspoon of garlic powder
2 cups cooked and cubed chicken breast
1 cup grated cheddar cheese, divided
1 cup grated mozzarella cheese, divided
2 green onions, sliced
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, hot sauce and garlic powder with a blender halfway through until fluffy.
Add chicken, ½ cup cheddar cheese, ½ cup mozzarella cheese and green onions.
Spread on a small baking dish or pie plate. Cover with remaining cheese and bake for 20 minutes or until frothy.
Notes on the recipe
The ranch dressing mixture can be added to the cream cheese mixture if desired.
Other favorite additions include crumbled bacon, diced jalapeños, blue cheese or diced celery.
