Turn the head.
Does removing a stripped screw take a lot of your patience? Try placing a rubber band flat on the head of the screw and inserting the tip of the screwdriver into the groove over the rubber band. The rubber band will fill the space between the screws, providing the traction needed to turn the screw and make it easier to remove.

Door creaks are often caused by the pin that connects the two hinge plates. Hammer the pin upwards, push it out of the hinge, and pull it out again. Coat the pin with full fat mayonnaise and then reinsert the hinge. Open and close the door several times to spread some good lubricant around and then turn the noise off.
