APPLE BLONDIES WITH MAPLE GLAZE

Let’s make the smell of autumn! These wonderful apple candies are a great addition to your dessert to bring the feeling of autumn into your entire home. Share this amazing recipe with your family and friends and they may fall in love.

INGREDIENTS

Blondies Ingredients
2 C of flour
1 teaspoon of baking powder
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1 C of unsalted butter softened
1/4 C sugar
1 C dark brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 1/2 teaspoons of pure vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
½ tsp Pumpkin Spice Cake

The spice filling of apple pie
2 large Gala apples finely chopped
2 tablespoons of light brown sugar
1 tablespoon of unsalted butter
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Maple Enamel
2 tablespoons of unsalted butter
¼ Pure Maple Syrup C
½ Powder Sugar C
¼ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
¼ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

INSTRUCTIONS

Apple Filling directions
Using a medium saucepan on low heat, cook apple filling mixture for about 5-7 minutes or until apples are cooked
Allow to cool completely

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and spray an 11×7 baking tray with Pam baking spray.
Using a large bowl, beat the butter, brown sugar and sugar until light and fluffy.
Beat the eggs, one at a time until they combine
Beat in the salt and vanilla
Using a medium bowl, beat in flour, baking powder, ground cinnamon and pumpkin pie spices.
Gradually mix the dry ingredients with the moist ingredients
Spread half of the dough in the pan
Spread half of the apple filling on top of the dough
Spread the remaining dough on the apple filling
Place in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Maple, Pumpkin and Spice Glaze Instructions
Using a small pot, melt the butter, maple syrup, vanilla, cinnamon and pumpkin over medium heat.
Once the butter has melted, remove from heat and whisk in ½ C the powdered sugar until smooth and combined
Spread evenly over the bars and allow to cool completely
Cut and enjoy!
