Halloween, Chocolate Pretzel Spider Webs

This is a wonderful idea of Halloween candy, pretzel chocolate webs. It’s crunchy, salty, sweet and full of chocolate.

Ingredients and Supplies

semi-sweet chocolate chips and white chocolate chips
pretzel sticks
Disposable bakery/ice bags {can use basic resealable plastic bags – sandwich size}
parchment papers

{the amount will vary depending on how many you want to make}

Directions

Line the surface {table, kitchen counter or cookie sheet} with parchment paper. Take 8 pretzel sticks and group them to form a circle with one end of each pretzel radiating from the center {see photo below}. Repeat this several times. To make little webs, take 4 pretzel sticks and break them in half and form the circle with the 8 smaller pieces.
Place half a cup of chocolate in a microwave-safe container and melt it in the microwave for about 45-50 seconds and then stir. If it is not completely melted, put it back in the microwave for about 10-20 seconds and then stir it again. Repeat this step until the chocolate is completely melted, but be careful not to burn it. Do not use the chocolate if that happens, throw it away and start again. {This is why I like to melt the chocolate in small batches}
Put the chocolate in the ice bag and cut the end where the chocolate will be squeezed to make the chocolate web. If the opening is too small, just cut a little more from the end.
To start forming a web, start from the center of one of the groups of pretzels that were previously arranged in a circle, squeeze the melted chocolate out slowly working in a spiral and stop when you are near the edges of the pretzel sticks.
Let the chocolate pretzel webs dry for an hour or less if placed in the refrigerator before they can be removed from the parchment paper.
