Do you prefer apple pie or muffins for dessert? Pfft, I say why choose when you can have the best of both worlds!
Ingredients
1 box of White Cake Mix
Ingredients needed in the cupcake box
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 can of apple pie filling or 1 recipe for homemade apple pie filling 22 oz
Whipped cream or ice cream for optional topping
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and line the muffin tin with linings.
Make a muffin dough according to the instructions on the box. Add cinnamon.
Cut apple pie into bite-sized pieces.
Add 3 tablespoons of pastry dough to each muffin lining. Place a slightly stacked spoonful of pie filling on top of the dough.
Bake for 18-20 minutes.
Cover with ice cream or whipped cream.
