Brownie Pudding Dessert

Brownie Pudding Dessert is a decadent layered dessert that starts with the perfect brownie, topped with a layer of cream cheese and chocolate pudding, and finished with a cold shake and more chocolate!

INGREDIENTS

BROWNIE LAYER
1 1/2 cups (186g) all-purpose flour
1/3 cup (42g) dark cocoa
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon of salt
4 large eggs, at room temperature
2 cups (400 g) granulated sugar
3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks or 170g) butter, softened or at room temperature
2 teaspoons vanilla

LAYER OF CREAM CHEESE
8 ounces (1 package) cream cheese, at room temperature
1/2 cup (62.5g) confectioners’ sugar
8 ounces of cold whip

PUDO LAYER
1 box (5.1 ounces) of instant chocolate pudding
2 cups of milk

TOPPINGS
8 ounces of cold whip
Hot fudge or chocolate syrup
Chocolate swirls

INSTRUCTIONS

BROWNIES
Heat oven to 350°F. Prepare a 9×13-inch baking sheet with nonstick spray or GOOP.
In a large bowl add flour, cocoa, baking powder, salt. Beat the ingredients until they are completely incorporated.
In a stand mixer bowl or in a large bowl using a hand mixer, beat eggs, sugar, butter and vanilla until light and fluffy.
With the mixer turned off, add the flour mixture. Turn on the mixer to low heat and mix until the ingredients are well combined.
Pour brownies into prepared baking dish and bake for 30-35 minutes at 350°F. Brownies are made by removing a toothpick inserted with crumbs but not wet dough.

LAYER OF CREAM CHEESE
In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, confectioners’ sugar and cold shake. Mix until smooth.
Spread mixture over cooled brownies.

LAYER OF CAKES
In a medium bowl combine milk and pudding.
Using a hand blender, beat at medium speed until thickened (2-3 minutes). Spread carefully over the layer of cream cheese.

TOPPINGS
Cover with Cool Whip, chocolate swirls and chocolate syrup.
Refrigerate for 1 hour, or until ready to serve.
