BUTTERY HONEY GARLIC SHRIMP

Shrimp with honey and garlic covered with the best butter and garlic sauce with honey is a fast and simple shrimp recipe that is guaranteed to impress. This is the best shrimp recipe to come to your table! Restaurant quality flavor ready in less than 10 minutes! No marinade required!

INGREDIENTS

1/4 cup unsalted butter
1/4 cup of honey
4 large cloves of garlic, minced
1-2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon of olive oil, divided
21 ounces (600g) of shrimp (or prawns), with or without tail
Salt and pepper, for seasoning
Lemon slices (to serve)
1 tablespoon of fresh chopped parsley

INSTRUCTIONS

Melt the butter in a pan or frying pan over medium-high heat. Add honey, lemon juice and garlic; stir well to combine all flavors and cook for 30 seconds until garlic is fragrant. Remove from heat.
Pour a little more than half of the honey and garlic butter from the pan, leaving 2 tablespoons in the pan; reserve the rest for later.
Add 2 teaspoons of the oil in the same pan and sear half of the shrimp for about 2 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through and no longer opaque. Transfer to a plate; set aside. Clean the pan with a paper towel and repeat with the rest of the oil and shrimp.
Return the cooked shrimp to the pan and pour in the rest of the butter and garlic sauce with honey, stirring the shrimp so that they are evenly covered. Season with salt and pepper if desired and garnish with parsley.
