This Chocolate Cannoli Cake is full of flavor and topped with fudge and crunchy cannoli.
This cake is HUGE! After it is assembled it is almost seven inches tall. Tons of chocolate and the creamiest cannoli filling.
INGREDIENTS
CHOCOLATE CAKE
- 3 ounces semi-sweet chocolate
- 1 1/2 cups brewed coffee
- 3 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 cups cocoa
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 eggs
- 3/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 1/2 cups buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
CANNOLI FILLING
- 15 ounces ricotta cheese
- 8 ounces mascarpone cheese
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup mini chocolate chips
CHOCOLATE GANACHE
- 2 cups chocolate chips
- 1 cup of heavy cream
