My mom has been making this chocolate dessert, commonly called chocolate delight, for years. It’s a popular choice for birthdays and other special occasions. A good dessert can take an ordinary gathering and turn it into something extraordinary. And this chocolate layer cake is that good! This irresistible, but super easy dessert is a total crowd pleaser that both adults and children will enjoy.
1 cup flour
1 cup of chopped nuts
1⁄2 cup margarine (softened)
1 (8 ounces) cream cheese (softened)
1 cup of confectioner’s sugar
1 1⁄2 cups of Cool Whip
2 (4 ounce) packages of instant chocolate pudding mix
3 cups of milk
*Mix flour, chopped nuts and margarine together. Press into a baking dish and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
*Mix cream cheese, confectioner’s sugar and cold shake. Spread the mixture over the cooled crust and set aside.
*Mix the instant pudding with milk. Put this mixture on top of the cream cheese mixture. Cover with a cold whip (as much as you like) and some chopped nuts.
So good for a summer treat
