Baked Shrimp Recipe with a Simple Sauce
This recipe is proof that it doesn’t take much to make an impressive and incredibly satisfying dinner.
This shrimp is bursting with fresh and bright flavor and with this baking method your shrimp will end up with a perfect final texture. Nothing chewy or gummy here, just delicate, fat and juicy shrimp.

Ingredients for the baked shrimp with lemon-garlic butter sauce
Extra large raw shrimp - the large or jumbo size will also work only by adjusting the baking time slightly (more or less). Butter - salted or unsalted will work here. Garlic - use fresh garlic for best results Lemon juice - don't use the stuff bottled here, just the fresh stuff. Salt and pepper Red pepper flakes - if you don't like the heat, skip it, if you like the heat, add more. Fresh parsley - will not only add color, but a light herbal flavor that combines well with lemon.
1 pound of raw shrimp, cleaned, peeled and deveined.
8 Tbs. butter (1 stick), melted
3 cloves of garlic, minced (my addition)
1 packet Good Seasons natural Italian seasoning
1 1/2 lemon, cut in circles
1 Tbs. of dried parsley leaves
1 teaspoon of ground black pepper
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with the minced garlic, and pour it into a 9×111-inch glass pan, spreading it across the bottom of the plate.
Arrange the lemon slices over the butter, forming a single layer.
Arrange the cleaned and deveined shrimp on the lemon slices.
Sprinkle the Italian seasoning over the shrimp.
Sprinkle parsley flakes and pepper on top.
Bake uncovered in a preheated oven for 15 minutes.
