Creamy garlic, parmesan, broccoli and bacon is an unforgettable accompaniment. Fried broccoli and crispy bacon are baked in a creamy parmesan cheese and garlic sauce! Topped with bubbly mozzarella, this recipe is guaranteed to turn ANY vegetable lover into a nutcase. And the bonus? It’s low-carb!

INGREDIENTS

8 ounces (250 g) of bacon, coarsely chopped
2 tablespoons of butter
1 onion, chopped
5 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
1 1/2 cups (400 ml) of light cream (or for a richer sauce, you can use heavy or thickened cream)
1 1/2 teaspoons of corn starch mixed with 1 tablespoon of corn starch water.
1 pound (500 g) of broccoli flowers, 2 to 3 heads of broccoli, without stems.
Salt and pepper for seasoning
1/2 cup freshly grated or shredded mozzarella
1/3 cup of grated or shredded fresh Parmesan cheese
