2 tablespoons of olive oil.
2 pounds of beef in cubes.
2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour
4 cups of water.
2 cups of meat broth.
½ tsp. salt.
½ tsp. ground black pepper.
4 cups of diced potatoes.
2 cups chopped carrots.
1 tsp. dried rosemary.
1 cup fresh corn kernels.
1 cup of fresh green beans, cut into 1″ pieces.
1 cup chopped turnip (optional).
2 cups chopped fresh tomatoes (optional).
In a large pot, heat oil and add meat and flour until browned.
Pour in water and broth and season with salt and pepper. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour.
Mix the potatoes, carrots, and rosemary and simmer for another 1 or 2 hours.
Mix the corn, green beans, and simmer for 30 minutes
