Calling all chocolate and pumpkin lovers! This recipe will leave you speechless for a long time. This recipe for chocolate pumpkin bread is sweet and chocolaty and will make a great bread recipe to use at breakfast, for dessert or as part of a brunch.
1 C Flour
½ C Hershey Dark Cocoa Powder
2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spices
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon kosher salt
1 ½ C Pure pumpkin puree
¾ C Light brown sugar
½ C Rapeseed oil
¼ Whey C
2 large eggs
1 ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
3 tablespoons of Bourbon
1 C divided chocolate chips
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and spray your 9×5 bread pan with baking spray pam.
Using a medium bowl, beat in flour, cocoa, pumpkin pie spice, baking soda and salt.
Using a large bowl, beat until pumpkin puree, brown sugar, canola oil, buttermilk, eggs, vanilla and bourbon combine.

Fold in ¾ C of the chocolate chips

Put in the oven for 30 minutes
After 30 minutes, sprinkle the remaining chocolate pieces on top of the bread.
Continue baking for another 20-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
