Quick and easy lemon brownies that are perfectly moist and chewy! The lemon glaze on top is the perfect finishing touch! It will be hard to stop at one!


3/4 C of flour
3/4 C sugar
1/4 t of salt
1/2 cup of softened butter
2 eggs
1 tablespoon of lemon juice
grated 1/2 lemon
Lemon Glaze:
1/2 C powdered sugar
1 T of lemon juice
grated 1/2 lemon


Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line an 8×8 inch tray with aluminum foil or parchment paper for easy removal. In a large bowl or using a stand mixer, beat the flour, sugar and salt. Mix the soft butter.
In another bowl, beat the eggs, lemon juice and peel. Add the large bowl and mix well.
Pour into the prepared 8×8 inch pan and bake for 25 minutes. Remove and let cool.
To make the glaze: Beat in the powdered sugar, the lemon juice and the peel of the other half of the lemon. Pour over top of cooled lemon brownies.
