Monster Eyeballs Halloween pretzels are such a cute treat for Halloween and an easy food for Halloween. Perfect to bring to a school party (peanut-free dessert) or Halloween party – all you need are pretzels, M&M’s and Hershey Kisses (hugs)!
Ingredients
35 Embossed pretzels
35 Hershey Hugs (don’t use Kisses, for some reason they don’t melt as well!)
Red Sand Sugar
35 M&M’s
Black decorative gel
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees
Place the pretzels on a cookie sheet covered with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat (for easy cleaning).
Place a Hershey Hug on each pretzel.
Put in the oven for 5 to 7 minutes (look at them… they should be shiny and soft, not melted).
Quickly sprinkle sanding sugar over the hugs and place an M&M in the center of the hug (M side down).
Put a very small amount of black decorative gel in the center of the M&M (careful, I put too much and they wouldn’t dry!).
Put in the freezer for about an hour so that the gel will set.
