Delicious desserts are not much lighter or simpler than this easy two-ingredient cake from Weight Watchers Pineapple Angel Food.
1 box (1-step) of angel food cake mix (I used Betty Crocker)
1 large (about 20 ounce) can crushed pineapple, undrained.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
In a large bowl, stir the dried cake and the entire can of crushed pineapple with its juice. Stir well until all the dry mixture is incorporated. (The mixture will become very frothy.)
Pour the batter into a 9×13 skillet lightly greased with nonstick cooking spray.
Bake at 350F degrees for the time specified on the box for the size of the pan. When the sides separate from the pan and the toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, the cake is ready. This should take 30 to 40 minutes.
Remove it from the oven and place it on a wire rack to cool.
