If you’re a keto and you’re missing some Big Macs, I have the perfect Big Mac salad and dressing recipe for you! Super easy and let me tell you that it tastes EXACTLY the same as real Big Macs.
Except, of course, that this low carbohydrate hamburger salad is actually good for you. Homemade Keto’s is a great choice, if you ask me.
Ingredients
Big Mac Sauce
3/4 cup (224 g) mayonnaise
4 tsp (4 teaspoons) Prepared mustard
2 tablespoons (2 tablespoons) dill pickles
1 tablespoon (1 tablespoon) white vinegar
1 tablespoon onions, chopped
2 teaspoons (1 teaspoon)
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
Salad
1 pound (453.59 g) lean ground beef
1 teaspoon (1 tsp) kosher salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
4 cups (288 g) chopped iceberg lettuce
½ cup (80 g) Onions, sliced, halved
1 cup (113 g) grated cheddar cheese
1/4 cup (35.75 g) dill pickles
Instructions
Make the dressing. Mix the mayonnaise, diced pickles, mustard, vinegar, onion, paprika and Swerve. Set aside while you gather the other ingredients. Set aside while you gather the other ingredients.
Heat a 10-inch skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef, crush it to break up lumps and cook until almost done. Season with salt and pepper and finish cooking.
While the ground beef is browning, chop the lettuce. Slice the onions into rings and cut them in half. Coarsely chop the gherkins…
When you are ready to serve the salad, mix the lettuce, onions, pickles and cheese. Place in four bowls. Add ground beef mixture to each bowl ¼. Drizzle with dressing and serve immediately.
