PEANUT BUTTER CARAMEL TOFFEE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE BARS

Peanut butter, candy, caramel, candies, chocolate chip cookies, what else can you ask for? These cookie bars combine all your favorite flavors in one mouthwatering bite that no one will be able to resist. They’re sure to become a new family favorite!

Ingredients

Candy filling
11 ounce bag of vanilla candy
14-ounce can of sweetened condensed milk
4 tablespoons of butter

Cookie dough
12 tablespoons of unsalted butter
2 cups of light brown sugar
1/2 cup of creamy peanut butter
2 eggs at room temperature
1 tablespoon of vanilla
2 cups of flour
1 cup of old-fashioned oatmeal
2 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder
1 teaspoon of salt
2 cups of chocolate chips
1 cup of Reese’s peanut butter chips
1 cup of Heath candy chips

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
Unwrap the candies and place them in a small pan with butter and sweetened condensed milk.
Cook over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally until the candies have melted completely and the mixture is smooth.
Butter and sugar cream together in a large mixing bowl. Add the peanut butter and continue to mix.
Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each egg. Add vanilla.
Mix the flour, oatmeal, baking powder and salt in a small bowl.
Add the flour mixture slowly, stirring until well combined.
Add the chocolate chips, peanut butter chips and caramel chips.
Spread 2/3 of the dough on the bottom of the bowl.
Slowly pour the caramel mixture evenly over the dough.
Drop the rest of the dough on the spoon. It doesn’t have to be perfect!
Bake for about 30 minutes. Allow to cool completely and then cut into bars
