“Peanut butter and chocolate chip cookies made with natural peanut butter and kosher salt.”
1/2 cup of butter
6 tablespoons of brown sugar
6 tablespoons of white sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup of natural peanut butter
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate mini chips
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
Cream of butter or margarine with brown sugar and white sugar Add the egg and vanilla. Mix well. Add the peanut butter, baking soda and salt. Make sure it is well mixed. Add the flour and the chocolate chips.
Drop teaspoons of cookie dough and then flatten with a fork slightly on a greased cookie sheet. Bake for 5-6 minutes or until only a hint of brown is visible at the edges. Do not over-bake. Let cool on the cookie sheet for 5-10 minutes. Then move to the cooling rack.
