Pistachio Pudding Dessert

This is perfect for the next special dessert you want to make! Better than cheesecake, you’ll love how it turns out! I love doing this when I need to take a plate somewhere because everyone loves it!

I always have people asking me for the recipe! You have to make it a little early because it needs time in the fridge, but it’s definitely worth it! The crowd appreciates it for sure!

Pistachio Dessert

Rations 8 portions
Cooking time 15 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of flour
  • 1/2 cup of crushed nuts
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • 1 stick of butter
  • 3 cups of milk
  • 1 cup of powdered sugar
  • 2 9-ounce cartons of Cool Whip
  • 2 packs of instant pistachio pudding
  • An 18-ounce packet of cream cheese *

Instructions

Crust

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
  2. For the crust, mix the flour, nuts, sugar and butter with a mixer or fork.
  3. Spread the mixture in a 9 x 13 mold.
  4. Bake 15 to 20 or until lightly browned at 350 degrees.
  5. 5. After removing from the oven, cool in the refrigerator.

Icing

  1. Next, powdered sugar cream, cream cheese and a container of whipped cream.
  2. Spread the mixture on the cold crust.
  3. Prepare the pudding mixes, using only 3 cups of milk.
  4. 4. Pour over cream cheese mixture.
  5. 5. Cover with remaining cold whipped cream.
  6. Cool for several hours or overnight
