It tastes like a Big Mac! You’ll never miss the bun!
INGREDIENTS
HAMBURGER
1 pound of ground meat
1 teaspoon of garlic powder
pinch the salt
pinch the black pepper
DRESS
1/2 cup of natural Greek yogurt
1 tablespoon of red wine vinegar
2 teaspoons of mustard
1 teaspoon of ketchup
1/2 teaspoon of paprika
1 teaspoon of granulated sugar, optional
SALAD
2 heads of romaine lettuce (about 8 cups), chopped
1 cup grated cheddar
1 cup of grape tomatoes, cut in half
6-8 baby dill pickles, sliced
1/4 red onion, thinly sliced
1 teaspoon of sesame seeds, to garnish.
INSTRUCTIONS
HAMBURGER
In a medium skillet over medium heat, add the ground meat, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, until no pink remains, 8 to 10 minutes. Set aside to cool slightly.
DRESSING
In a medium bowl, stir together the yogurt, vinegar, mustard, ketchup and paprika.
SALAD
In a large bowl, make a bed with the lettuce. Add the cheddar cheese, tomatoes, pickles, red onion and ground beef.
Pour the dressing over the salad and then toss. Sprinkle with sesame seeds for garnish.
