This chocolate chip cookie dough sauce is absolutely incredible. There’s no need for eggs, flour or the oven to make this quick and creamy unbaked sauce recipe! Serve this dessert dip with cookies, graham crackers or fruit.
One 18-ounce package of cream cheese, at room temperature.
½ cup 1 stick butter, at room temperature
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons of brown sugar
¾ cup of powdered sugar
1 cup of miniature semi-sweet chocolate sandwiches, plus others for garnish if desired
Cookies: graham crackers, Nutter Butters, chocolate chip cookies, butter cookies or fresh fruit.
Beat the cream cheese and butter until blended and fluffy, about 3 minutes.
Add vanilla, brown sugar and powdered sugar, beating until combined and smooth.
Fold the chocolate chips with a spatula.
Transfer to a serving bowl and sprinkle with additional chocolate chips if desired.
Serve at room temperature with cookies and/or ladles of fresh fruit.
Store in a covered container in the refrigerator.
