500g smoked sausage, cut into 1cm pieces.
500g potatoes, cut into pieces
1 onion, sliced
2 teaspoons garlic, crushed
1 cup chicken broth
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons parsley, chopped
1 cup of heavy cream
3 tablespoons of cornstarch
4 tablespoons of water
To ensure that this recipe is gluten-free, use gluten-free corn starch and a Worcestershire sauce.
In a slow cooker, add the smoked sausage, potatoes, onion, garlic, chicken broth, Worcestershire sauce and parsley.
Simmer for 6-8 hours or until the potatoes are cooked.
Mix the cornstarch with the water until smooth. Stir into the slow cooker along with the heavy cream.
Cook over high heat for 15-30 minutes or until thickened.
Season with salt and pepper.
