When we set out to find the perfect recipe for banana and chocolate rolls, we knew it had to be amazing from start to finish. It had to have the best texture ever; moist and light, with a rich cocoa flavor, and full of bananas! Chocolate and bananas are the perfect combination of flavors, and they’re healthy too!


2 eggs
1 cup of sugar
½ cup of vegetable oil
1 cup banana puree 2-3 bananas
3 tablespoons buttermilk or 3 tablespoons yogurt, or ½ teaspoon lemon juice mixed with 2 tablespoons plus 2 ½ teaspoons milk
1 tablespoon of vanilla
1 ½ cup flour
⅔ cocoa cup
1 tablespoon of baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon salt
1 cup of chocolate chips


Preheat the oven to 375°F.
Beat the eggs, sugar, oil, banana, buttermilk, and vanilla together until combined.
Add the flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, and salt and mix until well combined. Do not over-mix or the rolls will be difficult to prepare. Fold the chocolate chips.
Using a cookie cutter, divide the dough evenly among 12 muffins and bake for 15 to 17 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool for 5-10 minutes, remove from muffin tin and let cool on a wire rack.
