Sheet Pan Pecan Pie

Ingredients

Bark
3 ¾ cups of flour
½ teaspoon salt
¾ cup butter
3 slightly beaten eggs
1/3 cup of milk

Filling out
2 cups of brown sugar
1 ½ cups light brown sugar
6 large eggs
2/3 cup melted butter
½ teaspoon salt
3 cups of chopped nuts

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and butter. Cut the butter into flour until the mixture falls apart.
Add eggs and milk and mix until doughy. Cut the dough in two (save the second one for another cake), and cool for 20 minutes.
Roll one of the dough balls to fit the bottom and sides of a 15×10 baking sheet.
Mix all the ingredients for the filling. Pour it into the cover of the cake.
Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes and then reduce heat to 350 and bake for another 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
