SLOW COOKER JAMBALAYA

Ingredients

2 skinless, boneless chicken breasts, cut into pieces
1 pound of andouille sausages cut in slices
1 can of tomatoes in 28-ounce cubes
1 large onion, chopped
1 red bell pepper, finely chopped
2 celery stalks cut into thin slices
2 cups of chicken broth
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
2 teaspoons of dried oregano
1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 pound of shrimp 13-15 count

Instructions

Add all the ingredients except the shrimp to the slow cooker and stir.
Simmer for 7-8 hours (over high heat for 3-4 hours), in the last 15 minutes add the shrimp.
Serve over the rice.
