2 cups of nuts, finely chopped
1 1/2 cups self-raising flour
1 cup of sugar
1 cup of brown sugar
1 cup of vegetable oil
4 large eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
Preheat oven to 350º F and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking pan with butter or nonstick spray.
In a large bowl, use a wooden spoon to mix the sugars (white and brown), eggs, and oil until completely incorporated.
Add the flour and salt until incorporated, then mix in the vanilla and add the nuts.
Pour the dough into a greased baking tray, then place it in the oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the toothpick inserted in the center comes out mostly clean.
Remove the dish from the oven and let it cool for at least 15 minutes before cutting and serving.
